KAREN SWYSTUN

A founding partner of Waterford Global Inc., Karen Swystun oversees the strategic direction of the firm. Karen has more than 20 years of experience in executive search and has successfully carried out search assignments for a wide variety of positions, including executive searches for CEO, COO, CFO, President and Board Directorship positions, as well as extensive experience in leading and conducting searches for numerous management and technical leadership positions.

Karen has built a reputation of excellence in her previous roles as a Senior Vice-President and Associate Partner in the Executive Search Practice of one of Canada's largest public accounting firms and as a Partner in a leading national executive search firm. Karen has also served on several non-profit and not-for-profit boards. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Health Sciences Centre Foundation and, for several years, she served on the Board of Directors of The Winnipeg Convention Centre, acting as its President in 1998 and 1999.
