Senior Buyer, Private Label

This is a leadership role in a highly team-oriented environment, providing direction in setting the merchandise assortment for assigned departments and ensuring that Buyers procure goods that will achieve established financial objectives. Key components of the position include trend forecasting and global sourcing in order to customize and develop a private-label product for a generation of young professionals. This requires equal strengths in both the creative and commerce aspects of buying in order to effectively translate global fashion trends into commercially viable products for the target customer, resulting in an optimum assortment of product that meets the strategic objectives of the department.
