Director, Corporate Communications

The Director of Corporate Communications is primarily responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the development and delivery of all corporate communications functions, programs, campaigns, and strategies with the goal of ensuring there exists a high level of understanding of our client organization’s strategic goals and objectives among its staff, stakeholders, and the public. This includes ensuring that all of the organization’s communications activities enforce the corporate brand and its standards of quality, consistency, professionalism, and cost-effective production; benchmarking communications practices to ensure they reflect best industry practices; and aligning them with performance measures in each functional area.

Leading a large team of professionals in a variety of communications functions, the Director actively seeks opportunities to build collaborative working relationships and strategic partnerships with business units throughout the organization by developing communications and stakeholder consultation strategies that effectively support the business goals and objectives, thereby integrating communications processes into the broader organization.

As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director also provides media relations advice and support to the primary media spokesperson and to members of the Executive and others throughout the organization.
