Corporate Controller

The Corporate Controller ensures the effective leadership, management and delivery of financial accounting and reporting functions of our client, which support the achievement of the corporate and finance strategic direction and ensure sound financial practices are followed. The Controller also has functional responsibility for accounting information used in financial reporting from other accounting areas.

A key priority in the role, and for which the Controller will be responsible, is the redevelopment of our client's accounting function to improve the frequency, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. In this regard, and with the implementation of a new business transformation system, short-term responsibilities include improving the stability and accuracy of the financial information. Longer-term accountabilities include strengthening financial reporting and benchmark analysis, and realignment of finance responsibilities. This would include, among others, ensuring that our client's statements and accounting policies are in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards, and assisting in the development and execution of the Finance Strategic Plan.
