Risk Analyst

The Risk Analyst is part of the middle-office corporate risk control team that is collectively responsible for providing effective risk control management services to the organization. This involves developing, recommending, and implementing policies and procedures around efficient financial risk monitoring, control, analysis, and reporting, as well as executing qualitative and quantitative analysis for managing market, credit, and operational risk.

In this position, the incumbent supports the corporation’s risk management activities and initiatives within a team structure, measuring the overall risk profile (present and future) for the company. Regular activities include reviewing, analyzing, challenging, and tabling opinions and recommendations on proposed and ongoing risk management strategies in commodity risk management, treasury funding, treasury investing, interest rate risk management, foreign exchange risk management, and legal risk management.
